Enyeart Auction & Realty was established by
Col. Wallace Enyeart in the small Chariton County town of
Keytesville, Missouri over 50 years ago. Wallace discovered his love
and natural talent for auctioneering early in life while growing up
on a farm northeast of Keytesville. After high school he
attended auction school and quickly became popular and well-known
for his rapid, clear & smooth auction chant.
Enyeart’s real estate career began with
United Farm Agency in the 50’s becoming one of the areas top-selling
agents. Livestock auctions have also played a major role in
Enyeart's auction career, which included auctioning at numerous
livestock markets throughout Missouri as well as selling purebred
livestock & production auctions.
In 1964 Enyeart competed in the World
Livestock Auction Contest in Richmond, VA where he won the title of
Reserve World Champion Auctioneer. Due to work and family
responsibilities, he didn't compete again until the 80's where he
won Champion Auctioneer at the Missouri Cattlemen's Auction Contest
and competed in the World Livestock Auction Contest in Spokane, WA.
Wallace served as the Chariton
County Treasurer for 16 years until 1980, when he chose to devote
more time to the auction & real estate business. Over his 50+ years
in the Auction & Real Estate business, Enyeart has conducted
thousands of auctions and marketed millions of dollars of real
estate in Missouri & Kansas.
Today, Wallace enjoys a slower
paced life, tending to his cow/calf operation, enjoying his seven
grandsons, and of course his favorite past time, raising and
selling coon hounds.
Wallace's oldest son
Daniel, a Real Estate Broker, Auctioneer and Missouri General
Certified Real Estate Appraiser, has worked in the family business
since a very young age and heads Enyeart Auction & Realty today.
Daniel, his wife Gina and three sons live on a cattle farm near
Keytesville.
Like his father,
Daniel has also made livestock auctioneering a major part of his
career, currently selling at major livestock markets throughout
north, central and west-central Missouri. Also a competitor, Daniel
has numerous awards & accomplishments including winning 1st in the
Mid-America Auction Championship in 1986; 5th & 2nd place finishes
in the Missouri State Fair Auctioneer Contest; a Regional Champion
and three time Reserve Regional Champion in preliminary World
Livestock Auctioneer Competitions; and qualified & competed in four
World Livestock Championships from the East to the West Coast.
